| Pre-qualification

Suppliers will be considered for pre-qualification when they meet our requirements for:
- Financial standing
- Proof of continuity in the market sector within which they operate
- Demonstration of technical capability and sufficient resources to meet our requirements.
Potential bidders identified from the registration list – or identified by the company directly – will be invited to pre-qualify for contracts which the Company wishes to let. The invited contractors wishing to pre-qualify for one or more of OLNG’s contracts will be asked to provide certain Contractor Information for consideration by OLNG.
If, as an invited contractor you require clarification of the information requested or more generally about your submissions you may contact the focal point in Oman LNG whose name and contact number appears on the information sheet or on the pre-qualification form or send an e-mail to: (c&p@omanlng.co.om)
Those suppliers and contractors that pre-qualify will be invited to tender through an Invitation To Bid (ITB) for a contract.
Such suppliers/contractors will receive from Company ITB documents, which generally include information on:
- Scope of Work
- Contract duration
- Required Omanisation level
- Information on how the contract is to be managed
- Required Equipment
- Competence levels of contractor and contractor staff required
- Quality Assurance & Control measures to be implemented
- Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Standards
- Any other relevant specifications
